Rocky and Bella’s Midnight Adventure

One warm summer night, when the stars shimmered like sugar sprinkles in the sky, Rocky tiptoed out of the doggy door at Shamrock Hollow Farm. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure no one saw him, and padded quietly into the woods.

The trees rustled softly as Rocky trotted through the moonlit paths. He sniffed wildflowers, peeked as a sleepy owl, and followed the sound of crickets until he reached a wide-open field bathed in silver light.

There, standing at the edge of the tall grass, was a chocolate Labrador with bright eyes and a wagging tail.
“Hi,” she said. “I’m Bella. Are you chasing fireflies too?”
Rocky grinned. “Nah, just out for a stroll. The night’s too beautiful to waste sleeping.”

So they raced through the field like shadows and laughter. They sniffed daisies, dug one very suspicious-looking hole, and howled a friendly tune to the moon.

By the time the stars began to fade and the sky turned lavender, Rocky yawned a big yawn.
“I guess should get home before the rooster tattles,” he said.
Bella nudged him playfully. “Same time tomorrow?”
“Definitely,” Rocky barked with a wink.

And just like that, under a sleepy sky, Rocky with wandering paws and a Bella with a curious nose became the best kinds of friends—ones you find when the world is quiet, and the adventure is yours to share.
